Alert Affliction Item: Jack's Head
Allows "Jack-o-Lantrrn" form of the character. At night, the character can turn into this cursed Halloween form where they have the ability to form fire from thin air.

Passive- For Linked Companion
Minor Alert Affliction Item: Jack's Head (Companion)
When a companion is linked to an Elyxian with the Jack-o-Lanterns curse, they can have a second form to match their partner. 

Description:
This affliction can cause the user to have a second, more Halloween-based form. When the companion and main species are unlinked,  the companion's second form becomes null. The Main species form and item should be applied first, once it is approved a claim can be made to add the companion's form.

This form varies on each species but should follow the following outline.

Main Species second form
- Second form can be larger (Nothing bigger than x2 the size)
- Same marking patterns but can be a different palette.
- Can have clothing growth. 
- The head must be a pumpkin that floats (can be floating in a flame). The pumpkin shape can mimic the species' head shape. 
- Can have extended arms or legs, nothing more than double the natural length.
- Can not have traits added on the second form unless the main form has them attached unused (etc- Horns|Uncommon(Jack form). )

Companion second form
- Second form can be larger (Nothing bigger than x2 the size for average-sized companions)
- Same marking patterns but can be a different palette.
- Can have clothing growth. 
- Can appear to be decomposing/made of bones, severe injuries, floating limbs if detached by an injury etc.
- Can have harmful fire coming out eyes/wounds/mouth etc.
- Can not have traits added on the second form unless the main form has them attached unused (etc- Horns|Uncommon(werewolf form). )

Affliction Item:
Alert Affliction Item: Rapid Bone Growth
Grants the user the ability to rapidly mutate their own bones to act as weapons or armor. This effect is only temporary and causes damage to the skin when used.  

Description:
Used by warriors of hand-to-hand combat, this affliction is widely favored for its gritty and extra-ordinarily gruesome appearance.

Tame Affliction Item: Stained-Glass Butterfly
Allows the character to have tint glass growth, and/or hollow insides/traits to allow light to pass through this glass. Does not allow immortality. 
Description:
A small butterfly made of fragile glass, said to be tinted by the sun's light.

Critical Affliction Item: Candy Touch
The user has the ability to turn items and beings into candy materials upon touch. This effect can be reversed by the same user upon will, or any other user's of this exact ability. The wrists and hands can be made of any type of candy (optional). 

Description:
An unusual affliction found in abundance during the April month.

Alert Affliction Item: Sunken Scilla
Grants the user the ability to create a water elemental guardian from any large body of water, and keep this creature's form for as long as their magic stat allows. These sentinels can come in any appearance made of water and are usually between 5-9ft.  

Description:
A rare flower only found on sunken seabeds by their gentle glow at nightfall.

Alert Affliction Item: A Gift of Bloom
A gift that grants the user the ability to create bloom and channel life into those around them. This can make plants grow, heal near-fatal wounds and create insects and plants from thin air. Prolonged use of this affliction causes the user to become weak.

Description:
Flowers that is said to be a gift from a cursed Aphex.

Alert Affliction Item: A Gift of Decay
A gift that grants the user the ability to absorb life from those around them. Plants wither and die, and beings may grow weak in this being's presence or touch. The being can create black roots that leech the soil of life, turning it black. These roots can be controlled to restrain living beings. 

Description:
A branch that is said to be a gift from a cursed Aphex.

Alert Affliction Item: All-seeing Summoner
Allows the user to summon eyes anywhere on the body, or within a one-foot radius of their skin. Each eye is functional and can only persist for up to an hour at a time.

Description:
A common hex used primarily by non-sighted species.

Alert Affliction Item: Ichor of the Fallen God
The user's blood is replaced with a dark, ink-like fluid. Upon injury, or under stressful situations the user will secrete this black blood from their skin, allowing for a range of abilities. Abilities are randomly gained upon gaining this affliction, but would be one of the following- 
Blood can shift into weapons
Blood can shapeshift into appendages
Blood can absorb the energy of those it touches (non lethal)
Blood can cover the user's body and grant immense strength and speed
Eyes (Or head if eyeless) become black or masked by the blood. The body temporeraily gains exceptional fighting abilities and super-awareness. 

Description:
Supposedly blood from a fallen Diety lost to the sands of time or supposedly buried with the forgotten to rot. All that remains are his faithful companions, those who have willingly (or not) come in contact with his blood, and gained unique powers, but everything comes with a cost...

Alert Affliction Item: Jellified Insides
The user's muscles become soft and malleable like jelly. The user can transform limbs or their entire body to be covered in a slime-jelly-like substance that can be used defensively, or as a weapon. The slime can shape-shift, and harden to be dense enough to deflect attacks.

A strange sight to see...

Alert Affliction Item: Weak Blessed Ink
The user is embued with a tattoo ink with extraordinary properties. This weak variant of the affliction allows the users to control their own tattoos to peel off the skin and be used as restraints or tools like ribbons. Can not become animals or weapons. 

Description:
An ink that is only known to be made by one tattooist in Yellowseed. Many flock to the no-mans land to possibly inquire about these unique acessories.

Alert Affliction Item: Mysterious Black Tooth
Grants a Water Vikai form for your character. They can change between both forms freely or when in contact with water.

Description:
A large black tooth, the size of a Xeode's palm. It appears to be a relic of the Sky Stalker, a water Vikai rumored to be so monstrously large that it could catch Air Vikai mid-flight, and easily hunted pods of whales. Legend speaks of the Stowaway crew defeating this large beast, and carving out its teeth, passing them throughout the most honorable ships as a prize, however, the Vikai's revenge had only just begun. Those who had come in contact with these cursed fangs suffered from an uncontrollable curse, as once one had been submerged in water, their body would take on a grizzly new form... It is said only those who have managed to locate the Vikai's burial at sea and returned their tooth have managed to overcome the curse and control when their beast form emerges. 

The Second form must follow the trait rules of Water Vikai
- Traits the base species has (main form) can be applied to the Vikai form (etc gel skin/wings)
- Colours can be entirely new or copied from the main form 
- Traits can appear on the Vikai form that do not show on the main form (etc horns)
- A base may be available on GumRoad

This second form is NOT treated as a companion, and thus does not apply to companion awards, bond points or can not be linked to other characters/quests.

Gives the wearer an inner sense of good health and luck.
(Optional) Any fur on the body can elongate and hover in place. Harmless versions of an element can hover around the neck region.

A little red and golden brooch representing the Year of the Dragon 2024.

Alert Affliction Item: Sky Tears
Small stars follow the user and act with a mind on their own. They protect the user by turning into weapons or shields, with the sole purpose of protecting their life. They can only be created by the tears or spilled blood of the user. This may affect their colour.

A small jar containing living stars.

Alert Affliction Item: Pearl Dove
Grants the ability to create minions of black or white pearl. With every level in magic, the minion count grows, starting at 1 = 1 Magic. When not in use, minions change into small pearls and can be carried close. If a minion dies in battle, their animal or unique form can not be resummoned. 

Description:
A small dove made of peal. It seems to hum a gentle melody.

Alert Affliction Item: Wax Totem
This affliction turns the Toto's material into wax, and lights a flame on one limb of the body. The flame is harmless to the touch but can be put out with water or other liquids. The Toto has the ability to create wax in its hands, and form the wax into items, weapons, and animals. The wax holds its form within a 10-meter radius, which outside it will melt and dissipate.  If the flame is unlit, the Toto becomes lethargic and can not use their wax abilities. The flame of the Toto may also emit a strong fragrance.

Affliction Item:
Alert Affliction Item: Flame Foot
An affliction formed in beings of strong emotion or intent. This curse forms on the legs of the victim, turning them black and ashen. The paw pads (if applicable) glow and become warm to the touch. Footprints faintly glow. When the user is experiencing strong emotions, the feet of the user becomes enflamed with a fire that can not harm themselves, but others. Footsteps in this state leave patches of fire, that only extinguish when the user has calmed down. 

Description:
Considered a very common cursed affliction, this ability manifests in beings with strong emotions or trauma. This is only possible when the being is around objects or places of strong magical essence, primarily The Harrow. Just like an illness, this affliction slowly starts to appear on the user's feet, often at times only considered a normal affliction until other symptoms occur. The victim may see visions or hallucinations made of ash or fire that can trigger them into entering this "emotional" state.

Alert Affliction Item: Fungi Fever
Mushroom growth is present on the user, of any type. The user has the ability to hypnotize those around them for brief periods of time by emitting a sound with a pitch too high to hear with normal abilities. The user can also emit smoke from their skin that can interact with objects, however, it is rather weak and can not be utilized as a weapon or protection. When concentrating or using their abilities, a ring of mushrooms grows around the user or grows from their footsteps when walking. 

Description:
Many theorize that "Fairy Rings" or mushroom rings found in wildlands may have been formed by users of this affliction. It is assumed that inhabitants of Gonewell may have the ability to pass on this power to its people.

Critical Affliction Item: Relic of the Glass Desert
A gift bestowed by the King of Glass, this affliction allows the user to breathe fire of any colour. The user also gains scales over the throat (and neck - optional) that can be of any mineral/gemstone type. These scales glow when the user creates fire. This fire can be controlled to be hot enough to melt metal instantly, or cool enough to touch.

Description:
A scale belonging to the elemental Diety - The Glass King. Supposedly these scales can be found in his domain, or given as a gift to those who are lucky enough to encounter the being.

Tame Affliction Item: Carved River Stone
Allows the user to be covered in fungi or moss. Sections of the body can be made of stone, fully functional. 
Description:
A carved stone found in the rivers around the heart of Gonewell. Who carved this stone? We may never know.
