When worn, the user can manipulate the light around them into forms and weapons. This can only be done during the day when light is present. The power and severity of this ability is based on how much light surrounds the user, allowing a maximum of structures and creatures 3 stories tall and under. Anything created with this power appears to be somewhat translucent and any color, akin to a projection or a glass/crystal material. While appearing translucent, items are still fully physically but can be easily shattered with enough force.

Gives the ability to steal others' memories, or implant one's own into another's mind. Fake memories can also be inserted, however, they only last a brief amount of time in the host's head. Extended use of this ring may cause side effects such as; memory loss, loss of identity, and alteration of personality.

If the user has any stripped patterns these can glow and float off the body. These stripes can change color based on mood.

Gives the character the ability to fully glow as if their body was luminescent and/or ethereal for a short amount of time. Heightens all senses while active. 

Description:
An extremely rare species of fungi that gives unique effects when ingested or touched. This fungi has been known to temporarily increase the power of other afflictions when ingested.

Tame Affliction Item: Stardust Concoction
Allows this character to canonically be the size of an average Aphex (Around human height). Can be applied to subspecies that are smaller than average Aphex hieght. 

Description:
A small concoction of sparkling ingredients that allow smaller species to become human-sized. To use this blend, rub the liquid on the skin or drink it and give one full day to see the effects. If this is used on the species not listed then it will have no effects.

After drinking or absorbing the blood inside the vial, the character will have a "Basilisk" form they can choose to turn into and control.

Alert Affliction Item: Basilisk Blood (Injury)
After sustaining an attack from a Basilisk, the character will have a "Basilisk" form that they can not control. The form will emerge during moonless nights or under heavy stress. When the character is in this form, they can't entirely control their actions.

Description:
This affliction can cause the user to have a second, dubbed a "Basilisk'.
To earn art of this form you need to submit a claim with the design attached and the form will be added to the gallery of the character.
Traits will carry over from whatever the character's base traits are. (You are free to put on traits that don't show on the normal form, but do on the Basilisk form)

Basilisk blood is a rare and strange liquid from the creatures that stalk the forests of Gonewell. They are usually vicious and secretive, and much isn't known about them. Basilisks reach around 2 meters tall and 3-5 meters long. They have two large pincers used for fighting, a maw filled with fangs and cursed blood that leaks from two pours in the top of the mouth. A bite from a Basilisk can inflict the "Curse of the Basilisk" which will cause the victim to turn into one of these creatures under a moonless night or high-pressure situations. It is curable, but finding a cure can be hard to come by. While a bite from a Basilisk is often documented as a curse, Basilisks have also been noted to have donated their blood to kind travelers in reward for their aid. Blood that has been given in goodwill by the Basilisk does not force a transformation and allows the receiver to be in full control of the form. 

Many suggest that every Basilisk was another being inflicted from the curse in one way or another, and this often has high intelligence.

When two beings fully love and trust one another they can merge for a brief period of time and become a large, astral version of their bodies. This version consists of their two entwined spirits and is often smokey in appearance, two mixed colours (one for each soul). The new form shows aspects of both traits and personalities and can hover and fly great distances. This form can even traverse space for a short period of time.

Description:
A single black tarot card. It glistens softly in the moonlight. The beings pictured in the card seem to resonate a gentle light.

Allows the user to be covered in sharp vines that can be controlled and used as a weapon. These vines can grow and wrap around the user's limbs to transform them into weapons.

This affliction does not need to be visually shown on a masterlist.

Description:
A glass vessel containing a single, everlasting rose. Stories say that an Aphex was given this rose by a lover, white as the sun and soft like a butterfly wing. As time passed on their love only grew stronger, the two inseparable. One tragic day the two were separated by fate, the lone survivor drowned in anguish sought after any magic that could bring his lover back. After many trials, he managed to contain a slither of her soul into the single dried out rose he had held onto for so long. From the rose grew a large bush, all sprouted with dark red roses, almost moving against the vines as if they were alive. The lover cared for this plant for the rest of his days until he finally joined her in the earth, their love reunited once more.

Allows the user to have "living" water fur on their body. This water seems to move with their body and is controllable like any other limb. Replaces fur aspects (etc mane, tail).

Under nights where the moon is high, the user can call upon the energy of the moon to manifest night terrors. These manifestations are always pitch black and can be in the form of tendrils, creatures, ghosts, or monsters, and more. Those in the general vicinity (10km radias) will see the moon as a deep crimson red, and this blood moon will only dissipate when the user is no longer drawing the light or "energy" from the moon.

A dark red liquid fills this strange vial. Its power is unknown, but dark energy emanates from the glass.

The user who bears a fragment of the moon can communicate with the celestial god of the night. During full moons, the user can ask a single question relating to the past, present, or the future or seek insight into problems. Answers can be vague, or visions may appear to the user crystal clear.

A fragment from the moon. How they get to Elyxium no one can be sure.

Gives the user a crown of glowing flowers on their head. If this character is used to breed an offspring, the offspring may have this ability. Once passed to a hatchling, they can't pass it down.

Gives the user purple glowing markings that smell of sweet lavender (Does not need glowing trait).  These glowing markings can move off the body and be used as "living" ribbons.

Under extreme amounts of stress, the user will begin to glow and harness the energy around them to create large glowing roots from the earth. They can be manipulated and used as weapons or for protection.

Gives the user the ability to heal others' common illnesses. Wherever the user walks they leave flowers in their wake.

Alert Affliction Item: Bubble Bead
Allows the Shingal to travel inside a bubble. They can also control and create bubbles at will, which can sparkle and shimmer in the light. These bubbles can also be used as light armor from the elements. Small creatures can also be made of bubbles for short periods of time.

A small bead made in the likeness of a bubble. It seems to shine all the colours of the rainbow in the light.

Allows a second form to apply traits to. The method in which the character turns into this form is up to the user etc transformation at night, touching water, at will etc. 

The second form must resemble/have the same design as the main image (Colour/Body shape-wise). Does not need to include traits from the first. 
You are allowed to apply traits/items/Afflictions to either form separately or both at the same time for example: 
Having large wings on the second form, but none on the first.
Having bat blood applied to the second form but not shown on the first.

If traits do not show on the first form they will be included as (Horns|Uncommon(Second Form). 
You do not need two traits to apply the same trait on both forms. 
For subspecies, their second form can be depicted as the main species they are derived from (with the same markings/patterns). 

Submit a claim with the image (and items) attached to apply to your character. We request you include the traits used on the second form. This image will show up in the character's image section.
